01.

Keep off until dry!

Premature use could lengthen drying time, promote rapid re-soiling, and void your warranty. Do not lay down drop sheets, poly, or other. This flattens the pile and delays drying which could cause “browning,” an indication of lengthy drying.

02.

Drying Time

Drying time can vary. This is due to, temperature, humidity, textile type, and what method was used for cleaning. Typical drying times can be 1-2 hours with our ULM system, and up to 12 hours (3-6hrs average) for our deep HWE cleaning system. Topical treatments such as protectors can also lengthen drying times. We recommend that you ventilate the area with fresh moving air. For faster drying times, speed dryers are available at no extra charge.

03.

Furniture Blocks/Pads

Do not remove furniture blocks or pads.  These blocks and pads prevent wood and rust stains. Remove and discard only after the carpet is completely dry.

04.

Odours

Odours may amplify with cleaning, but should subside in a day or two.  Let the textile dry and the deodorizer work. Ventilate with fresh moving air. Remaining malodours such as pet urine or smoke may require special removal treatments. Call for details.

05.

Existing stains, or returning spots?

Existing stains left after cleaning may be a sign that they are permanent, or that further treatments may be required.  On the other hand, re-occurring spots often indicates that special treatments are needed. Ask for details.

However, if non-pre-existing spots appear after the textile has dried (rusty to brown in colour) this is an indication that a simple and free pH adjustment is required. Call for an appointment.

06.

The most important care you can do:

a) Vacuum regularly. A power brush, HEPA filtered vacuum is recommended.

b) Clean up spills immediately. Try blotting with just water and a white cloth. General-purpose cleaners may over lighten or cause colour loss. When using a cleaning product, always try it in an inconspicuous spot after reading the instructions.

c) Schedule professional cleaning at least once per year. More frequent cleaning will depend on your textile and traffic.

d) Have your technician apply a textile protector (i.e. Teflon Advance by Dupont, or ScotchGuard by 3M).
